Privacy notice

Draft prepared 29 October 2026

This notice is a draft for legal review. It is not legal advice, and it is not a final statement of Veraji’s compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act or any other law. Do not rely on it as a completed policy.

Who this notice describes

This notice is about the public website of Veraji Ltd, registered as Veraji LTD, at 152 Kez Udezue Street, Mabushi, Abuja, Nigeria. A separate privacy office has not been named.

A privacy request may be sent to theveraji@gmail.com, with a clear statement that it is a privacy request. The inquiry form can also be used when email delivery is connected. If the form says the message was not sent, use the email address instead.

What the inquiry form collects

If you submit an inquiry, the form collects your name, organization (if you provide one), email address, telephone number (if you provide one), the category of inquiry, an indicative budget range where the form asks for one, and your message. It also records that you agreed to be contacted about that inquiry.

A hidden field is used to reduce automated spam. You are not asked to fill it. Technical data such as an IP address may be used, briefly, to limit repeated submissions. The site does not ask you to create an account.

Why it is collected

The details are used to read the inquiry and, where Veraji chooses, to reply. They are not collected in order to build a public marketing list, and they are not sold.

The lawful basis for this processing, and the retention period, must be confirmed during legal review. Until then, treat both as undecided. A reasonable working intention is to keep an inquiry only as long as needed to respond and for a limited period afterwards, then delete it. That intention is not yet a binding retention schedule.

How a message is delivered

When email delivery is configured, the inquiry is sent to Veraji through an email provider (Resend, if that is the provider named in the server configuration), acting on Veraji’s instruction. Delivery may involve processing outside Nigeria. The provider, the destination mailbox, and the relevant transfer terms must be named precisely in the final notice.

When email delivery is not configured, the website does not store the inquiry and does not send it. The form returns an error and does not show a success message.

Measurement

A privacy-respecting measurement tool (Plausible, if configured) may be added later. It will load only after you accept the consent banner, and only when the site operator has set the measurement domain. If that domain is not set, no measurement script is loaded and no banner is shown.

The draft does not authorize any other analytics, advertising pixels, or embedded trackers. None are included.

Requests about your information

You may ask to see, correct, or delete inquiry information Veraji holds about you, and you may raise a complaint with the relevant authority. The final notice will name the contact and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission route in the language counsel approves.

This draft does not invent a data-protection officer, a registration number, or a response deadline.

Children

The website is a business site. It is not directed at children, and the inquiry form is meant for adults acting in a commercial capacity.

Changes

This page will be replaced with a reviewed notice before it should be treated as final. The draft label stays in place until that review is done. The date above will be changed when the text changes.
